The Chinese characters I typed showed up as questions marks on your website... Since I am a Chinese teacher, I definitely want a website that will support Chinese characters. I wish the developers could look into this issue soon. Many thanks for the hard work!

Be great if I could add a video, picture, PDF, or Office document to a comments or reply I've made on a topic.

I want to be able to write a bunch of topics and set a date/time to have them publish to my site.

Be great if I can add multiple attachments (video, picture, pdf) to a topic. Often I need to have both a word document and video or a picture and video.

I like the the idea that Collaborize could be a way for real-time collaboration to happen between me and my students. It would be great to have group chat capability on the site however it needs to be "safe". I propose that the chat feature be enabled only when the teacher is logged in and turns it on. Think of it like "office hours"- tell the students that you will be on the site from 6:30 to 7:00 Tuesday night for live chat. It could also be enabled in computer lab environments for more immediate communication (no browser refresh).

I'd like to upload my own content (videos and audio files) to a topic. Being able to embed with Youtube or SchoolTube is great but it would be better if I can upload the videos I create to a topic.

This option would allow students to make comments about the replies of others directly, without the comment seeming to apply to the original comment.

Teachers should have the option to allow students to edit their postings. Maybe this could go under "settings."

Currently I do not receive any notification when someone makes a direct reply to my post. I believe this would be valuable.

Create a participation report for one of the groups I've created on my site.

Many mobile users do not have, like, or use Apple products. I have an Android phone and so do many students. Our school is considering investing in a set of Android tablets for classroom use, as we could get more for our money than we could if we purchased iPads. Android is probably one of the larger markets for mobile users, and it would be beneficial to many if this were available on Android devices.

I am a moderator of one site and a member of a couple more sites and it would be great to quickly move between them. I see that they all use the same credentials.

I'd like to be able to create accounts for all my students at once. Upload a csv file with their names and passwords. Once they're uploaded the accounts would be created and they'd be ready to use the site.

I think it would really help students to have a point system. The idea is that student would earn points (and badges) for participation (comment, voting, replying), creating topics, and teacher ratings:

Examples:
1. Points for certain activities posting a topic, a comment.
2. Gold stars from teachers could be mega points
3. Students could tag posts as "encouraging," "funny," "deep thinking" or "smart" and they'd get additional points
5. Points could lead up to badges, like a yearbook (Miss Congeniality, Most Likely to Succeed, Funniest, Most Helpful), or "Mayor of Period 2," or other fun stuff.

U need to be able to see who is online

I'd like to have a report were I can select a topic and see how each student voted on that topic

I have a lot of topics and when it comes to the end of the school year I'd like to be able to bulk delete and / or archive topics. This will make it much easier to manage my site.

I would like for my students to be able to respond to a topic without being able to read each other's ideas. I want to collect their raw responses and then have them collaborate and respond to each other. I don't think that this should depend on waiting until responses are at 100%, because that may never happen, but maybe opening the results up after the discussion closes or allowing the teacher to chose when to make the student responses visible.
